From ideas to impact
What to expect
The Accelerator is a unique hands-on learning experience – no theory allowed!
Every Accelerator challenges delegates to step outside of their comfort zone, adapt to the unexpected and build resilience, enhancing their readiness for change.
These experiential learning experiences can be delivered as a stand-alone event or seamlessly integrated into a management or leadership development programme, to focus on specific organisational needs and goals.
Here’s how a typical Accelerator is structured…

01 Key topic areas for pre-learning
After understanding your goals, we identify and share relevant digital learning, articles and video clips to ensure delegates are set up for success.
02 Start of the challenge
Introduction to the charity, group or individual they’ll be working with, or solution they’ll be working on. Teams begin research and planning and come together for a coaching session.
03 Idea development
Problem solving and ideas generation within teams. Questions and concerns brought to a second coaching session.
04 Solution development
Teams pull together their plans and financial forecasts (where needed), before submitting them for judging.
05 Completion of challenge
Teams present their plans to judges, who will announce the winning team. Debrief with participants of key learning and takeaways.

Accelerator FAQs
Each Leadership Accelerator can be tailored to suit each organisations requirements. An accelerator can be completed in one day or it can delivered across 4 weeks, around 12 hours per person.
We're committed to making our training sessions accessible and inclusive for all participants. We understand that each person’s needs are unique, and we're happy to make adjustments to ensure a comfortable learning experience.
We can offer a range of accommodations, including:
- Providing information and workbooks in advance
- Breaks or flexible timing arrangements
- Screen reader compatibility (for any digital learning)
- Accessible resources in alternative formats
- Additional support or guidance throughout the session
If you have specific accessibility needs or requests, please reach out to us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Technical support is available to participants throughout the programme.
We can also provide one-to-one coaching for delegates at agreed intervals during the programme. If you would like to appoint internal coaches, so they can work closely with us, and give your delegates additional support, we can provide additional training and guidance for them. Note there is an extra fee for these options.
The Leadership Accelerator can scale to your needs, it's a designed to be flexible so you can have two small groups or ten large groups participating at one time. Whatever the cohort size is the learning experience will be the same.
We suggest you use both feedback forms at the end of the session as well as feedback provided around one month later. Manager feedback on behavioural changes is as important as delegate feedback. We can support with developing KPIs where appropriate.
